Horses, Fence and hay bails for bottom tier of

Christening cake this weekend...



Thomas the Tank Engine.

Thomas the Tank 2 tiered 1st Birthday cake.

butter cake with 100s and 1000s in the batter to make

it all colorful when cut. Ring tin used on top layer and

filled with m&ms for a surprise when cut into.

all decorations hand made with fondant and sugarpaste.  



little gumpaste princess

This little lady we called Sally... hahha like to give them names !

she is about 10cm tall so only a baby.. was rather a challenge to make. To give you an idea of her size her wand is a tiny star on a small piece of dry spaghetti. She and some other princess things will go on the 2nd teir of the 3 tiered Christening cake next weekend.

Shoebox and shoe cake.



Gumpaste work for upcoming cakes ..

This is a gumpaste shoe for a cake I am doing on Sat.

The cake will be a fondant covered shoebox with 

the shoe sitting on top and the bow is just for some added decoration at the bottom corner of the box.  

These little baby booties are about 10cm long

(very fiddly to make) they are for the top teir of a 3 tiered

christening cake for next weekend. Gumpaste has to be 

made ahead of time so it has time to set up! 

I had some extra gumpaste left over so made a few little extras

not sure if they will make the cake but they will make it to someones cake ... I just store them in airtight containers once they harden and they are good to go for when i need them :)    



Rat Bag Cake

Chocolate cake with butter cream .. covered in fondant. 

completed with rats. 

 

Cookies for going away party for Shannys Class at school.

These are cookies on sticks which Shanny wanted

to take along to a party they are having for a boy who

is leaving. She wanted to do girl and boy ones so girls are

reading little pink books and boys blue ones...

The teacher has just been involved with ''Shave for a Cure''

so she wears a pink bandanna.
